Adaptive cruise and drop mirrors or nit

Ok so my daughter has just bought a J7 and is having problems getting her passenger side mirror to drop when reversing, I have tried and the steering wheel control doesn’t do what the YouTube film says, as in it changes audio source and doesn’t bring up any sort of mirror control. The second thing is the adaptive cruise control, seems complex!! She took the car to where she bought it and to my mind it seems like they fobbed her off by saying her model has neither of those functions, whereas the driver manual says she does. Do all J7 cars have those functions regardless variant as in non and SHS

Hi, can't help with solution to your Daughters' issues but, you should NOT accept being "fobbed off" by your supplying Dealer. If something/anything doesn't operate as you expect - they should either fix it, or explain why - to you're absolute satisfaction! You gave them c£30k - you deserve 5* Support!

As for the mirrors, in the settings you can choose whether the right, left or both mirrors dip in reverse. Also you have to set the mirror dip position when in reverse. Make sure the handbrake and foot brake are applied when the mirror setting is selected, put into reverse (the screen will show the reverse camera screen) and adjust both mirrors to where you want them, put into neutral and save mirror settings.
