Screen Freeze, Speed Limit and DAB issues

Good evening Owned our J7 Hybrid for a 6 weeks now, so still learning our way around!!3 main issues, the nav screen keeps freezing, especially when using Waze through Android, usually happens when leaving home, got 20 miles away the other day and it still thought we were at home!!It keeps getting the displayed speed limit wrong, the other day head up display and dash screen had us in a 10mph zone whilst on a 60mph stretch of road. That was a 1 off but it’s displayed 30mph several times in a 60mph zone. Is the speed limit worked out through the Sat Nav or Road sign recognition?DAB radio reception is awful.I’m assuming a software update might sort these issues.I’m a bit disappointed with the dealership, the car arrived 10 weeks late and I think they rushed it through its PDI as I was hoping this would be sorted before taking delivery.

Hi. I’ve not had any issues with the screen freezing but I’m on IPhone so can’t comment specifically. Waze is ok for meRegarding the speed, yes it’s a right pain. I’m not sure how it gets its speeds but it can sometimes be all over the place but I’ve also found it plays up when I go past a “20 When School Crossing lights show” warnings whatever time or day it is. I always swipe the screen down when I start and turn the Speed Limit warning and the Driver Fatigue warning too. Still shows I’m in a 20mph zone when it’s actually a 50 or whatever but it won’t beep like crazy.As for the DAB, yep, same. But I took it to Jaecoo last week and the had it 2hrs before telling me to collect it as they haven’t been able to fix it as there’s a new update that they haven’t got yet so it’s still cutting out.

Thanks for the reply. Looks like we'll have to put up with it for a while then. Don't want to throw it into a dealer when they definitely can't sort one of the issues. Also don't want to wait until the 1st service as that will be at 12 months as we only cover limited mileage. I wasn't expecting plain sailing with such a new vehicle and generally it's been a pleasant experience. Also we've been Land Rover owners for the last 25 years and nobody can top them for producing second rate products and having customer service skills that are widely regarded as being some of the worst in the trade!!

Hi. Seems like your Car is needing a software update, attached picture shows what I am on as I had it updated recently. Have you tried to reboot the screen. If you tap the Version number 10 times it will open another screen where you can try a reboot of the system. With the latest visit to the garage they have fixed the DAB signal error. It has made an amazing difference it hardly cuts out now.
