nursesarah31 Hi I have just got my brand new Jaecoo 7 and I absolutely love it but I'm a bit confused about the parking brake. When I park I just press the P button on the automatic gear stick is this correct or should I be also pressing or pulling the P switch by the driver's door? I realise this is probably a really stupid question and makes me look ridiculous so please go easy on me!! Thank you.
rich Hi Sarah, I’ve had mine 2 weeks and I’ve done nothing but use the P button on the stalk when I stop and park, the parking brake has always worked and you can hear it deploy so, carry on as you are would be my personal advice.
stewier The drivers seat belt has to be on to move the car. Very frustrating when you only want to move a fe meters. You can buy on line a seat belt extender which cures the problem.Aliexpress does one for about six pounds including delivery.
Whyaye Without the seatbelt on, press the brake, push the parking brake button until the red led goes off and the car will move when you release the foot brake.
