Some threads should be on all 3 Forums

Ive noticed that many threads on J5 J7 J8 are and will be relevent to all the Jaecoo range, and not specific to an individual model
for instance radio problems, or ac, or key fobs, all as an example, will be relevent to all of us
Had the problem been specific, as in for instance a door handle problem on J7 or J8, then the J5 dont need to worry about it

Just wonder if we can cross feed across all 3 forums in this instance

Also, can we talk directly to another member?
Also, can we put a signature at the bottom of our posts, for instance i could add
2026 PHEV, or something to show that i have the model that may reflect in what is being posted or asked about

Hi @stevemull, thanks for the suggestions, all three are now live:

1. Threads on all three forums. A thread can now be tagged with more than one model, so it shows up under J5, J7 and J8 at once. When you start a discussion, just pick every model it applies to (up to 3). For model-specific problems like a J7/J8 door handle, tag only that model. I've tagged this thread with all three as an example. If an older thread of yours is relevant to everyone, you can edit it and add the other tags, or flag it to us and we'll do it.

2. Talking directly to another member. Private messages are switched on. Open a member's profile and choose the option to start a private discussion, or use the Private Discussions entry in the menu on the left. Only the people you add can see these conversations.

3. Signatures. Go to your profile, then Settings, and you'll find a new Signature box. Type something like "2026 J7 PHEV" and save it. It then appears under all your posts, old ones included. It's plain text only, so links are stripped, and it's limited to 100 characters.
